Memories so old – they seem like a movie
But so close to my heart, be forever with me.
40 acre playground, to Grandma’s farm we’d go.
3 lucky, city kids, so long ago.

All these years later - like Capistrano’s birds.
Nature’s calling me back – to fight for action –
well beyond words.

Through studies by scientists, the world has found.
We have fouled our Mother Earth, her water, air and ground.
But billions of dollars, buy words of denial.
And political lies - sustain the Profit piles.
Discrediting the science - saying we can’t be sure.
To warrant Big Oil change – to seek the needed cures.

We’ll stand proudly by those - whose land this was first.
What perfect partners to fight against Big Oil’s thirst?
